Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and animal rights activist. The actress has won praise for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). The desire to become an artist was in part influenced by her family background within an New York family of artists. The first job she had was a photo assistant. She then moved on to modelling and acting. She was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being an aspiring young actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story was an international smash, and earned the actress an Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies, she received the title of top female box-office debut in the world. In Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she was able to have her name and footprints hand-engraved. Some of the films she's been in are The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
