Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. Biles was the very first female gymnast from America in history to have won four gold medals during one Games. in Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to have won successive World All-Around championships. Biles and her younger sister Adria, who were adopted from Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston area), grew up there. Simone was interested in gymnastics when she was just six in a day-care field excursion to Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for 11 years under the guidance of her instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles received a silver medal for vaulting, and a bronze medal in floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin participating in the elite level of gymnastics competition. In just two years, she dominated this sport.
