April Bowlby, an American model and actress. She was known as Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy Series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby is an American actress best recognized for her role as Stacy Barrett in the American Legal Comedy drama/fantasy television series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi in The sitcom Two and a Half Men. The actress began her career in modeling, and then moved to television and film. Her first small-screen appearance came as an extra on the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and was followed by appearances on a single episode in other series. In Two and a Half Men Bowlby was cast in the role of Kandi. Bowlby's role as Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her not only fame but also recognition across the globe. Bowlby portrayed Rita Farr/Elastigirl from the American web-based series Titans. In a spin-off version in the form of Doom Patrol, she will reprise her role. Bowlby was also seen in TV films, including Sands of Oblivion and The Wrong Daughter. The actress made her debut on the big screen with her feature-length movie All Roads Lead Home and later appeared in other movies including The Slammin Salmon and From Prada to Nada. The school was her first move to California when she was a child. She took ballet classes as well as French at Moorpark College before deciding to take on an acting career. She trained with Ivana Chaubbuck. She was offered a part in a television series (Kandi, Two and a Half Men) after a few shortly before her Hollywood audition. Bowlby is well-known for her performances on a number of TV programs, including CSI (as Kaitlin in 2004), CSI: NY (as Jenny Lee in 2005), Freddie: Sydney in 2005 as well as In Stacked, Jasmine along with How I Met Your Mother: Meg. Bowlby's latest role was Natasha, a 12-year-old girl who lost her mother to the result of an accident in her car. Bowlby plays Mia as Natasha in The Slammin Salmon, a comedy film due for release in 2008. The actress lives in Los Angeles. She is a redhead with blue eyes. She's single and has no children.
